Lilium Restaurante

In our restaurant, born on the island of Lanzarote, we celebrate the richness of Canarian cuisine. We work with vegetables and fruits grown in volcanic soils, seafood from our coasts, and local and imported meats carefully selected by us. We are committed to locally sourced ingredients, naturally, without overlooking certain products that, due to their gastronomic value, complete and enrich our offerings.

Evolving Tradition

A way of cooking with “Canarian Sense”, where tradition meets modernity. We respect timeless flavors, but are not afraid to go further, reflecting in each dish the character of the Canary Islands, a place that inspires us with its diversity, nature, and people.

The Innovation of

Canarian Cuisine

Orlando Ortega, a native of Arrecife, is a benchmark of Canarian gastronomy due to his passion for local products and his innovative vision. After training in renowned restaurants like El Bulli, in 2006, he founded Lilium restaurant with Sandra Guadalupe, now in Marina Lanzarote, a space that combines tradition and innovation in Canarian cuisine with high-quality local products.

Lilium offers technically impeccable dishes and reinterpreted traditional recipes, highlighting the authentic flavors of the Canary Islands in its tasting menus. With Sandra Guadalupe leading the dining room, advocating for a very local wine list, the restaurant combines high-quality cuisine and attentive service, having been recognized with awards such as Travellers’ Choice, mentioned in the Michelin Guide since 2012, and awarded a Repsol Sun from the leading guide in Spain, thus solidifying its position as a gastronomic benchmark in Lanzarote.
